Buy The Right Camera

ˇ@

There are many brands and styles of cameras, and many amateur photographers do not know how to buy the right camera. Expensive cameras are not always determinant of good quality. I personally believe that any more than 18.0 Megapixel is not suitable for normal shooting enthusiasts. A multitude of photographs at 8MB each, when uploaded to the computer will take an extraordinary amount of time to open, leading to impatience and frustration for the photographer. I recommend that you choose a camera between 10.0 Megapixel to18.0 Megapixel.

Buy a camera with pop up flash, so you can save a few hundred dollars on flash, as the pop up flash sufficiently details ordinary environments.

The best lens is a 18mm-200mm or 28mm-200mm lens; with wide-angle and telephoto capabilities, they are suitable for on-the-go or at home usage. Since these are not interchangeable lenses, you can keep the camera clean. The price of these lenses is very reasonable and similar to the price of two lenses. Today's optical technology has had a very big improvement: wide-angle deformation and dark corner problems have improved.

Of the many brands and styles of cameras, most people prefer Nikon or Canon. In my opinion, these brands are of good quality, though that is not to discredit other brands on the market. It is also not my intention to represent these labels, but merely suggest that they produce quality cameras.

When shooting the same object at the same location with the same aperture, shutter and ISO value, the effect of Nikonˇ¦s photo color is brighter than compared to Canon. Nikon cameras can be interchanged with all Nikon lenses, whereas Canon cameras may not do so. However, Canon accessories are cheaper than Nikon, and Canon has a wider variety of styles than Nikon cameras. It seems that most people have a Canon camera.
The following is the proposed purchase of a camera; it is cheaper to buy a camera with the kit.

Under US$ 1,000.00

Nikon D90 Body US$ 849.00 ˇAKit: Nikon D90 with 18-105mm lens US$ 1,040.00

Canon EOS 60D Body US$ 899.99 ˇAKit: Canon EOS 60D with 18-135mm lens US$ 1,199.00

I recommend for the amateur photographer to select one of two cameras listed below. There is no need to purchase an expensive camera, since there is not a big difference in effect.

First Choose:  Kit: Canon EOS 7D with 18-135mm lens US$ 1,749.00

Second Choose:  Nikon D300s Body US$ 1,699.00 ˇA  Kit:  Nikon D300s with 18-105mm lens US$2,099.00
